Dispensable RF Absorbers
Dispensable RF Absorbers

Versatile silicone dispensable alternative to sheet and die-cut RF absorbers

AC-001 Series Overview

The AC-001 Series is a line of dispensable, cured-in-place RF absorber materials engineered for targeted RFI suppression from 1.0 to 40.0 GHz. Unlike standard die-cut silicone absorber sheets, AC-001 materials can be applied directly into complex geometries and hard-to-reach cavities, making them ideal for designs where traditional sheet installation is impractical.

Formulated with a silicone base loaded with carbonyl iron powder, each AC-001 loading level is optimized for peak attenuation in a specific frequency range. By adjusting both the loading level and the applied thickness, we can help you precisely tune performance to your target frequency, often achieving better than -20 dB attenuation exactly where it’s needed.

With thicknesses from 0.037″ to 0.165″ depending on frequency, these materials are well-suited for cavity fills and conformal coverage inside electronic enclosures. The AC-001 Series is fully compatible with automated dispensing systems, enabling high-volume manufacturing with reduced labor costs. Once cured, typically 45 minutes at 85 °C, the material forms a durable, low-outgassing, halogen-free absorber layer with performance comparable to standard silicone RF absorbers.
